Welcome to Interview Prep Lab! Complete the form below to be matched with an alumni or parent volunteer to complete a mock interview. 

Below, you'll have a chance to select a sample job description that will help your interviewer choose relevant questions for your practice session.You'll prepare just like for a real interview and once matched, you'll get a chance to practice your responses and receive real-time feedback on your performance.

These virtual sessions will simulate a real first-round interview, but you can be confident your interviewer is there to be a supporter. 

Interviews are scheduled directly between students and their alumni or parent volunteer so this program can adapt to your busy schedule.

Important dates to know:

  • Complete this form no later than April 10
  • Match day is April 17 and each student/volunteer pair will receive an introduction email
  • Students are asked to email their volunteer by April 24 to schedule your mock interview
  • Interviews are to be completed by May 15

When selecting a job description for your 1:1 practice interview, choose a role that interests you, even if it's not your dream job or current field of study.

While it’s helpful to pick a job or industry you're curious about, these descriptions are samples designed to help you practice showcasing your skills, interest, and motivation during an interview.

The goal is to work through demonstrating your enthusiasm and aligning your experience with the role, regardless of whether it’s the perfect fit for you.
