Once you’ve picked your instrument, we’ll send you your music – specially arranged to cater for all abilities – and some practice tips for you to get practicing. In the run-up to the event, we’re holding after work First Aid Clinics so you can meet some other budding musicians and get some help from our team on how best to prepare for the day.
On the day, you’ll work with members of our National Orchestra for All and our team of professional orchestral tutors to rehearse the pieces, before performing to friends and family at a performance at 4pm – followed by a well-earned drink!
Orchestras for All exists to unlock access to the life-changing experience of ensemble music-making for 11-18 years olds with complex lives. Playing in an orchestra has proven benefits, allowing young people to develop key social skills. All of the money you raise at Musical Chairs will be used to offer opportunities to help enrich the lives of young musicians across the country.
If you're interested in joining us for Musical Chairs 2019, register your interest below and we'll get back in touch once the details for the 2019 event have been announced!
