Weybridge Application
Thank you for your interest in Weybridge House. This application is casual and is just a way for us to get to know a little bit more about you, so no need to go overboard! One thing we do want to stress as you consider living with us is the fact that we do have some weekly chores that help maintain our local food mission and our overall happiness; these typically take between 2-4 hours a week and are an essential part of living in the house. That said, they’re fun and the majority of them are done with fellow house members, such as spending 2 hours cooking a community meal with other residents. Every resident also has a job that contributes to the functioning of the house, such as bread making, fridge cleaning, or event planning.
Send any questions to akraner@middlebury.edu and salexander@middlebury.edu. Please submit this application by Saturday, February 10. We look forward to meeting you!

Please read through and sign your name at the end: Living in Weybridge is a large commitment. Not only do we attempt to live entire off a local diet, we are also a group of eighteen people who must succeed in living with one another. We aim to create a respectful and inclusive atmosphere wherein each member of the household pulls their weight in order for the community to function. As such, I agree to the following:-I will perform my jobs and chores. I recognize that these will take a time commitment of anywhere between 2 – 5 hours a week.-I recognize that Weybridge is not merely “off campus housing” – but rather, a home for a community. I will do what is necessary to keep Weybridge running smoothly. This may mean doing things outside of my jobs/chores responsibilities, such as cleaning up the kitchen, sweeping the floors, putting food deliveries where they belong, emptying the compost bin, etc.-I will be respectful of the other residents in the house. Signed: *
