Stories to Action (STA) is a FREE video-storytelling program for youth (12-25) running Tuesday afternoons throughout October and November in Bendigo. The program will support you through fun and inspiring workshops to create your own videos about the environmental issues and positives actions that you care about. You'll be supported to share your videos in the broader community to inspire positive change. Have fun, get new skills, meet others who care, and make a difference! No prior film-making experience required.
You'll get:
- Skills/experience in storytelling and video-production
- Skills/experience in community advocacy
- A signed Certificate of Participation listing skills learned
- Yummy food and drink at the workshops
- Priceless warm+fuzzy feelings of helping our planet!
You'll be supported to:
- Make your own short inspiring environmental-themed video
- Share your video with your friends, community and beyond
You'll need to be:
- Aged between 12-25
- Interested in making a positive environmental difference
- Motivated to make your own video
- Available to attend the program workshops Tues 4-6pm, between 10th Oct - 28th Nov (at least 6 of 8 workshops), with some additional time to shoot/edit your video
- Live in one of the following local government areas - Loddon, Campaspe Greater Bendigo, Central Goldfields, Mount Alexander
