Happy Museum: International Affiliate Scheme Survey

Background and aims of the survey
Since 2011 Happy Museum has supported the development of museum people and practice, placing wellbeing within an environmental and future-facing frame, and rethinking the role that museums can play in creating more resilient people, places and planet.

Happy Museum (HM) does this through action research, academic research, peer networking and training in the UK that has directly connected with 70 museums, and increasingly through wider online and international communications.

We are now scoping opportunities to extend HM to an international network of affiliates. This survey aims to map:

- how museums are engaging with these themes internationally;
- what the demand might be for a network for museums focused on this frame; and
- identify what value, activities and outcomes potential affiliates would expect from such an initiative.
