Leave a review of 'Poetry, Conspiracy and Radicalism in Sheffield'
Thank you for ordering a copy of our book. This anthology was produced as part of a short-term AHRC-funded Cultural Engagement Project in the School of English at the University of Sheffield. There are over 40 years of Sheffield Register and Sheffield Iris newspapers from 1780-1820 in the University of Sheffield Library's Special Collections, the vast majority of which published 'Poetry Corner' as a weekly feature. That means that there are over 2000 poems in the archive, and so far we have only been able to spotlight 10.

We would love to continue this work. It is therefore important that we can demonstrate that there is an engaged audience for this research.

Your reviews will help us to do this. Thank you very much for taking a few moments to complete these evaluation. With your support we hope that we can keep telling the remarkable story of Joseph Gales and James Montgomery!
