2023 AIMS Games
We are sending out a google form to gain interest of students who would like to trial for a Girls Hockey team to represent us at the 2023 AIMS Games . AIMS Games is held from Sunday 3rd of September until Friday 8th of September in Tauranga.
The AIMS Games is an elite sports competition for Intermediate aged children, with participants from throughout New Zealand, Australia and The Pacific.
To be eligible to trial for selection, the following criteria must be able to be met:
All school/sport fees need to be up to date including those from last year for year 8 students.
A $250 non-refundable deposit will be required if your child is selected
Students must be willing to participate in fundraising activities to help cover expenses
Students must live the school values at all times
Whanau agree to pay the full cost (final cost to be advised. All fundraising is a bonus that will assist whānau in paying less)
Trials will be held during March. However, we are looking at having an AIMS Whānau hui before the trials to outline our plans and look at fundraising, sponsorship and grants.
