Move beyond the basics of sewing to work with patterns and various fabrics. Students with any previous sewing experience welcome--come perfect and expand your skills. You will need a sewing machine (adult size works better for kids than those marketed to children). In this class you will learn about sewing and your machine. About the teacher: Linda Ballinger started sewing at age six. Her grandmother taught her on a Singer Treadle, and Linda has been sewing continually for sixty-eight years! She has two years of college training and has participated in 4H and high school sewing classes. She has been involved in alterations and costuming for forty-eight years, and made all her daughters’ clothing until they graduated to blue jeans.
