Skelin 2026 sign up

We invite you to join us in the beautiful Vestfjords in Iceland for Skelin -  Festival of Applied Philosophy.

The Power of Goodness:  Can goodness be a superpower to counter conflict and strife – locally and globally?

This is the question we will explore during the Festival of Applied Philosophy in Thingeyri on 14th and 15th August. The value of meeting others with care and respect is currently under geopolitical pressure, in an atmosphere where the most powerful decision-makers put previous allegiances and agreements aside. A disregard for goodness can be contagious and appear locally on a smaller scale.

Date: 14-15 August 2026
Place: Skelin, Þingeyri, Vestfjords, Iceland
For whom: People of all ages and professional backgrounds with a curiosity about human collaboration and flourishing.
Cost: Two day festival + 2 x breakfast + Friday seafood feast costs ISK 9.500 (students pay ISK 6.500)
Language: English

We have only limited number of seats so we invite you to sign up.
