Guam Football Association Coach Education Description:
GFA Introduction Coaching Certificate: 6hrs over 3 daysThe GFA introduction course is tailored for new and current coaches working within the U6-U8 age groups. Participants will be introduced to the GFA Coaching Philosophy, the GFA Long Term Player Development Program, as well as the roles/responsibilities of coaches working in the GFA "Fun Phase". There are no pre-requisites for this course.
GFA GK Introduction Certificate: 7hrs over 2 daysThe GFA GK Introduction certification is a specialized coaching course for those coaches working with goalkeepers. It is an introducing the GFA GK coaching philosophy and provides basic GK coaching methods for the new/current coach. There are no pre-requisites for this course.
GFA Skill Acquisition Coaching Certification: 20hrs over 4 daysThe GFA Skill Acquisition Certification is tailored for coaches working within the U9-U12 age groups. This course focuses on the development of skill in line with the GFA Long Term Player Development scheme and aims at preparing players for the GFA Game Training Phase. Participants will be assessed on one practical session in this course. There are no pre-requisites for this course.
GFA GK Skill Acquisition Certification: 16hrs over 2 daysThe GFA GK Skill Acquisition Certification is a specialized course for coaches working with goalkeepers in the U9-U12 age group. It is the first GK component of the GFA GK Level I License. Participants will be assessed in one practical session for this course. Participants must have an AFC C License or GFA D License to register for this course.
GFA Game Training Coaching Certification: 20hrs over 4 daysThe GFA Game Training Certification is tailored for coaches working within the U13-U18 age groups. This course focuses on teaching the coaches/players how to perform in the various moments/phases of the game. Participants will be assessed on one practical session in this course. Participants must have an AFC (or higher) License or have completed the GFA Skill Acquisition Certification to register for this course.
GFA GK Game Training Certification: 16hrs over 2 daysThe GFA GK Game Training Certification is a specialized course for coaches working with goalkeepers in the U13-U18 age group. It is the second component of the GFA GK Level I License. Participants will be assessed in one practical session for this course. Participants must have completed the GFA GK Skill Acquisition Certification to register for this course.
GFA Conditioning Workshop: 5hrs over 2 daysThe conditioning workshop will educate coaches on football conditioning and the principles of football fitness. The course will teach coaches how to create, plan, and organize football conditioning programs. There are no pre-requisites for this course.

There are 25 slots maximum for each course (With exception of the Goalkeeping courses which is 20 participants, minimum 12) with a minimum of 16 participants, anyone who registers after will be on the 'Waiting List'. Should anyone from the initial 25 participants drop, the next person on the Waiting List will be accepted into the course.
