Learn How to Save a Life! Community Naloxone Training in Croton-on-Hudson

Please join New York State Senator Pete Harckham, Village of Croton-on-Hudson Mayor Brian Pugh and the Croton Free Library on Monday, December 18 6-8 p.m. for a free community naloxone training to educate participants on how to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose by administering the nasal spray medication known as Naloxone, an opioid antagonist. 

Over the course of the training, participants will learn how to identify the signs of an opioid overdose and how to administer naloxone. By the end of the training, all participants will leave with a two-year naloxone certification and a free emergency kit with two doses of naloxone and other safety equipment. 

The training will take place at the Croton Free Library: 171 Cleveland Dr., Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520
