For teens in 8th - 12th grade
Congregation of Reform Judaism
Goldman Social Hall

With anti-Semitism and bullying on the rise in local schools, join Orlando Jewish teens on Monday, October 30 to learn insight and resources to Empower the Jew in You!

Your peers will lead breakout sessions, moderated by JTEN Educators, on:
• Turning your back on hate
• Hate Speech vs. Free Speech
• Media Propaganda
• And more!

Discover through role-playing the difference between hate vs. ignorance, and when it is appropriate to stand up to educate others or report an act of hate.

You’ll leave with resources available to you right now in our community, synagogues and schools to help you Empower the Jew in You!

This program is brought to local Jewish teens in 8th - 12th grade, free of charge, by the Jewish Teen Education Network (JTEN) and the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of the Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando
