About World Relief
World Relief is a global humanitarian organization dedicated to empowering the most vulnerable populations. We come alongside local churches, community organizations, and individual volunteers to support newly arriving refugees and other immigrant families. We provide sustainable solutions to complex social issues, including education, health, and economic empowerment.
Position Overview
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic academic interns to join our team for Fall Semester 2024. This unpaid internship provides a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in an educational setting. You’ll work closely with our team and engage with the communities we serve, contributing to academic initiatives and enhancing learning experiences.
Preferred Majors and Skillsets:1.) Social Work
2.) International Studies
3.) Nonprofit Management
4.) Ministry
5.) Applied Linguistics
6.) Education
7.) Early Childhood Education
8.) English
9.) ESL/TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)
10.) Foreign Language
Qualifications
1.) Currently enrolled in a college or university, Sophomore or emerging Junior and up
2.) Strong academic record and a passion for education and community development
3.) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4.) Potential academic credit, if applicable
5.) Flexible hours to accommodate class schedule
