AFROPUNK ATLANTA 2018 VENDOR APPLICATION

AFROPUNK “Carnival of Consciousness” in Atlanta takes place at 787 Windsor. It will be held Saturday Oct 13- Sunday, Oct 14 2018 for two days of live music, conversation and good vibes.

The SPINTHRIFT MARKET at AFROPUNK ATLANTA 2017 will include 2 days of vending.

The SPINTHRIFT MARKET in Atlanta will feature makers, artisans, food, beverage, and craftspeople curated to offer a wide variety of one-of-a-kind products and delicious eats. Space is limited. Applicants are NOT guaranteed acceptance. AFROPUNK Vendors are accepted on the basis of their inventive and captivating booth set ups (make sure to include pics or a sketch of your booth set up for consideration) + quality, current products + professionalism. Bring your A game!

Program Details
We will stop taking applications on August 31, 2018
We will make the first round of acceptance decisions by September 1, 2018.
We will send our final decisions by or on Sept 14 (this includes a message to those vendors we will not be able to accept).
We can not give updates on your application status before Sept 14 (however if you have an idea of how you'd like to collaborate with AFROPUNK through your booth if accepted, then we LOVE discussing that. Needs to be a good idea with interaction, community impact, or other AFROPUNK-like integration).

SpinThrift Market Pricing for 2 days of vending, including 10' x10' vending space, tent, basic power (1 x 20A/110V line - bring extension cords and splitters), and 2 vendor credentials (wristbands): [$600]
any additional credentials must be purchased at the regular GA rate.

Bites&Beats Food Vendor rate = vendor pays 25% of gross sales commission + operating costs (power, cleaning deposit, tent) to AFROPUNK

All rentals - tables, chairs, glassless mirrors, tent lights, etc. - are the sole responsibility of the vendor. AFROPUNK will provide tent with sidewalls + power + 2 credentials to all vendors accepted into the SpinThrift Market.

For Craft/Market vendors, One 20A/110V line of power (standard three-prong Edison outlet just like the ones in your home) will be provided with each booth.

For Food Vendors, you will need to list your specific power needs in Amps/Volts and plug/connection type below.

Insurance: All participating traders will be required to present a Certificate of Insurance with liability coverage with AFROPUNK, its subsidiaries and partners as additional insured.

Selected Vendors will be required to complete and submit all paperwork and payments no later than Sept 25, 2018 to confirm their booth or the reservation may be cancelled.

Once accepted, you will be sent an acceptance letter with a contract, rules and regulations, necessary tax documentation, an invoice, and information regarding insurance. All of this is due within 14 days of acceptance to confirm participation.
