Volunteer Services at ECRC

At the Elmhurst Community Resource Center (ECRC), our Volunteer Services program is dedicated to empowering individuals who want to make a positive impact in our community. Our volunteers play a vital role in supporting various initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of life for residents in Elmhurst and surrounding neighborhoods.

What We Do:

  • Community Outreach: Volunteers assist in outreach efforts by distributing essential information, connecting residents with resources, and promoting community events and programs.
  • Event Support: Volunteers help plan and execute community events, such as health fairs, educational workshops, and cultural celebrations, ensuring these activities run smoothly and reach as many people as possible.
  • Mentorship and Tutoring: Volunteers provide mentorship and tutoring services, offering guidance and support to individuals and families seeking to improve their education, job skills, and overall well-being.
  • Food and Clothing Drives: Our volunteers help organize and distribute donations for food and clothing drives, directly assisting those in need and making a tangible difference in their lives.
  • Resume Writing Support: Volunteers provide crucial assistance to migrants by translating and refining resumes from Spanish to English, helping individuals better position themselves for job opportunities and career growth.
