Students whose applications are approved will enroll for fifteen credits during summer quarter. All students will earn at least five credits in the Human Ecology sequence (Anth 201, 202, and 203) and may enroll in five credits each of Bioanthropology (Anth 215) or Coast Salish Art (Art 129). These courses provide the potential of satisfying humanities, social science, natural science lab, and/or cultural diversity distribution requirements.
To prepare for this application please obtain an electronic copy of your transcript that you can copy and paste (unofficial transcript is okay) . The application asks for basic and emergency contact information, birth date (for background check), two references, and about your experiences outdoors and with tribal communities. You will also need to include a short essay about why you would like to participate in Tribal Canoe Journey. This can be prepared ahead of time and pasted into the form.
