Project submission: Hacking Biodiversity Data Cubes for Policy
The B-Cubed Hackathon consists of a preselection round where participants can submit a project related to biodiversity data cubes and our objectives.

Key Dates:
  • Project Submission Phase: From November 1st to December 17th, 2023
One of the unique features of our hackathon is that you won't have to be physically present at the hackathon to submit a project proposal. We offer the flexibility of both in-person and virtual attendance, though we do expect project proposers to lead their own projects.

You will learn whether your project has been accepted by our board by the end of December 2023. It's important to note that team leads must still register for the event, providing us with the necessary details.

For those whose project proposals may not be selected, we extend a warm invitation to participate in the hackathon by joining another project that aligns with your interests.

"Accepted projects will be officially launched on the B-Cubed Hackathon webpage at the end of December 2023. "

Registration Details:
  • Hackathon Registration for All Participants: Opens on January 2nd, 2024, and closes on February 29th, 2024. Please note that after this date, in-person registration will be closed. However, virtual attendance registration will remain open until the start of the Hackathon on April 2nd, 2024.
The B-Cubed Hackathon welcomes all enthusiasts and professionals, operating on a first-come, first-served basis. We can't wait to see you there, whether in person or virtually. Your passion and ideas can make a difference!

Thank you for being a part of this exciting initiative. We look forward to your project submissions and your presence at the B-Cubed Hackathon.

Note: You are not required to submit a project to register for the Hackathon.
