Facility Study: Community Feedback Survey
The Pocahontas Area Community (PAC) School board requested a facility study in the spring of 2019. Pocahontas Area contracted with the Estes Iowa Construction Advocate Team (ICAT) to perform the facility study. ICAT is a partnership of the Iowa Association of School Boards (IASB) and ESTES Construction for the purpose of providing its members and affiliated industry associates with a quality construction and facility resource staffed with recognized experts in the school facility and construction industry.
The goal of this work was to identify short and longer term improvement needs at the following district facilities:
• Elementary School
• High School/Middle School
• Pomeroy building
The Pocahontas Area Community School Board is requesting feedback from the public on what to do with the Pomeroy building prior to making its decision.
