ACASA members are warmly invited to submit information to be considered for publication in the triannual members' newsletter of the Arts Council of the African Studies Association (ACASA). There are additional options for requesting items to be posted on the ACASA website or social media accounts. The newsletter is intended to showcase our members' activities and accomplishments, and is not a general list of events in the field. Please be specific about member involvement for exhibitions, books, etc.

With global membership, ACASA promotes greater understanding of African material and expressive culture in all its many forms, and encourages contact and collaboration with African and Diaspora artists and scholars.

Newsletter Publication Deadlines:
Spring/Summer 2023, submit by May 15, 2023

This issue will publish in late May/early June 2023. If you have something with a deadline before then, you can contact socialmedia [AT] acasaonline [DOT] org

Kindly note that news items are not emailed out one-by-one to ACASA's mailing list, but are collected for distribution in the triannual newsletter. News items submitted by members should be timely, i.e. a recent publication, award, job opening, or upcoming conference, and not general (like a biography).
