Thank you for your interest in the NewGround Facilitation Skills Training, aimed at building participants capacity for communicating across differences. Together we shall build a community of practice – a network with whom you can practice and refine your communication and facilitation muscles.

You will have a hands-on experience of having constructive communication on charged issues, and both learn and get coached on foundational skills & approaches to holding conversations across divides. You will be exposed to skills developed by the national organization Resetting the Table and NewGround's methodology and tools.

This training consists of two days of intensive learning & practice (in-person), plus 4 practice sessions on zoom.

Training DATES: April 29th & 30th, 2026 + four 90 mins practice sessions on zoom.

TIMES: 10am to 5pm (both days); all practice sessions will be on zoom 5:00--6:30pm PST

(May 26, June 16, July 14, Aug 4)

LOCATION: Mary & Joseph Retreat Center (Palos Verdes)

TUITION: $550 (Includes breakfast, lunch and materials for the training.)
