Program Descriptions
IMPORTANT NOTE: Ball Color (Red, Orange, Green and Yellow) and court size is PURELY based upon age and is in coordination with United States Tennis Association regulations. Ball color IS NOT AT ALL A MEASURE OF ABILITY.

RED BALL: Ages 5-8 (Beginner-Intermediate)
Mon-Thur 3:30, 4:00, 4:30pm; Fri 2, 3 3:30 & 4pm, Sat 9,10,11,Noon & 1pm
**Registration options are 14 weeks (includes 18 hours of training) -OR- 26 weeks (includes 34 hours of training)**
This program follows the mandated United States Tennis Association system which uses age/skill appropriate equipment, lower pressure red dot balls and 36’ courts so that young kids can learn and play the game quickly & and set the stage for future success. Curriculum is designed so that children will learn and practice all athletic and tennis fundamentals, court positioning, develop groundstrokes, serve, rally and begin point play. Children will be separated into groups and curriculum will be adjusted according to ability and age. Max 4 per group with a 4:1 student/instructor ratio.
ORANGE BALL: Ages 7***-10 (All levels)
Mon-Fri 3:30, 4:00, 4:30pm; Tues/Thurs 5pm; Sat 9,10,11,Noon & 1pm

This program follows the mandated United States Tennis Association Junior Pathway which uses age/skill appropriate equipment, lower pressure orange dot balls and 60’ courts so that young kids can learn and play the game quickly and develop professional style skills. Curriculum is designed so that kids will learn learn and practice all stroke fundamentals, court positioning, develop a serve, rally and begin point play. More advanced players will learn more advanced stroke technique, spin, combining shots together with purpose, serve with spin and direction, approaching the net to use volleys, overheads and more advanced point play...all while using the faster orange dot ball and covering a larger court. Children will be separated into groups and curriculum will be adjusted according to ability and age. Max 6 per group with a 4:1 student/instructor ratio. ***To qualify for this program 7 year olds must have completed at least one year of Red Ball training***
GREEN BALL: ages 9***-11 (All Levels)
Mon-Fri 4:00, 5:00pm; Sat 9,10,11,Noon & 1pm
**Registration is for 26 weeks (includes 34 hours of training)
This program follows the mandated United States Tennis Association Junior Pathway and will be conducted on 78’ (full) courts with lower pressure green dot balls. Curriculum will vary based on experience and ability, with the goal to develop or refine technique and provide players with the tools to meet their goals. Groupings will be created with consideration of playing ability and age and players will utilize faster green dot balls. Emphasis will be placed on skills application in live ball (point play) situations. Children will be separated into groups and curriculum will be adjusted according to ability and age. Max 6 per group with a 4:1 student/instructor ratio. ***To qualify for this program 9 year olds must have completed at least one year of Orange Ball training***
YELLOW BALL: ages 12 and up (All Levels):
Mon-Fri 4:00, 5:00, or 6:00pm; Sat 9,10,11,Noon & 1pm

This program follows the mandated USTA Junior Pathway and will be conducted on 78’ (full) courts with full pressure yellow balls. Curriculum will vary based on experience and ability, with the goal to develop or refine technique and provide players with the tools to meet their goals. Emphasis will be placed on skills application in live ball (point play) situations. Children will be separated into groups and curriculum will be adjusted according to ability and age. Max 6 per group with a 4:1 student/instructor ratio.
YELLOW BALL HIGH PERFORMANCE: ages 10 and up (Intermediate to Advanced players Only)
Tues/Weds/Thurs/5:30-7:00pm
**Registration is for 26 weeks (47 hours of training)
This program is for kids at a higher skill level who are preparing for competition using full pressure yellow balls. This program is for kids who have the goal of starting tournaments, to make their high school team or to improve on their high school team. Acceptance is subject to approval by the Junior Directors. Curriculum includes advanced technical and tactical skills, with an emphasis on live ball and situational point play.
YELLOW BALL ELITE: ages 10 and up: (for ranked tournament players only)
Mondays and Fridays 5:30-7:00pm

This program is for top level juniors who are ranked and are currently successful in tournaments. This program is designed for players who have the ability to go on to play college and/or professional tennis. Invitation only.
