ABPsi 2018 Convention Abstract Submission Form
Thank you for your interest in presenting at the Association of Black Psychologists 2018 Convention in Oakland, CA. Please complete this form to submit your abstract. We look forward to seeing you at the monumental ABPsi 2018 Convention, where we will celebrate our 50th anniversary together!

IMPORTANT NOTES: All abstracts must be submitted through this form. This form will be closed and no submissions will be accepted past 5:00 PM (EST) on January 31, 2018. Acceptance/Regretful notifications will be emailed by 5: 00 PM (EST) on February 28, 2018.

Before completing this form, please read the following crucial guidelines for being an official ABPsi 2018 Convention speaker:

PRESENTER GUIDELINES

- By submitting an abstract for The ABPsi convention, I acknowledge that, if the abstract is accepted, the presentation would be consistent with the ethical principles of The ABPsi, conducted in a professional manner and that it would not include any defamatory or derogatory remarks directed to any person or persons by name whether present or not in the audience.

- Presentation dates extend from Thursday June 28 - Saturday June 30, 2018. Please ensure you will be available to present in Oakland, CA during any of these dates.

- The Convention Theme is "Building for Eternity." Your abstract must align with this theme. Please see the full description of the theme on the website.

- The views expressed in the presentation are those of the presenter(s) and do not represent the opinions of The ABPsi and are not endorsed by The ABPsi.

- ALL PRESENTERS, INCLUDING CO-PRESENTERS MUST BE REGISTERED FOR THE CONVENTION BY MARCH 31, 2018. Those who are not registered by that date, their name on the submission will be considered void. If all presenters are not registered by the deadline, the entire submission will be considered void.

- The presentation submission constitutes a formal commitment by the author(s) to present the corresponding presentation in the session and time-slot assigned by the National Convention Committee.

- The presenter(s) agrees to abide by the decision of the ABPsi in changing the type of presentation proposed and the date and time for the presentation.

- The limit of co-presenters allowed for a single presentation is 5 (this number includes the primary presenter)

- Email is the only method of communication ABPsi will utilize to inform you of your abstract acceptance and communicate other important info, changes, and reminders. It is your responsibility to provide a working email which you will actively check for info pertaining to your abstract submission.
