We are pleased to invite secondary school teachers to participate in a workshop “High School: Approaching Integrity with Writing Activities” that will be lead by Robert Arthur Cote, PhD in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching (SLAT), University of Arizona.
The workshop will introduce secondary school teachers who teach English or other subjects in English to activities aimed at developing good academic writing skills in their pupils. Teachers will learn about Writing across the Curriculum movement, as well as a number of interactive activities they can implement in their classroom.

WORK PLAN - SESSIONS (4 hours):
Almost Everything You Need to Know about Good Academic Writing;Summary, Analysis, and Reflective Writing Activities;Web-based interactive activities for listening, speaking, and writing (from MEXTESOL);WAC: Zines, book objects, anthologies, binder stories , etc.;WAC for Math and Science
REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES:• To have level of English B2+• To be a teacher of secondary school with an experience of teaching English or other subjects in English
INSTRUCTOR: Robert Arthur Cote, PhD in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching (SLAT), University of Arizona, Director of Writing Skills Improvement Program (WSIP).
Robert Arthur Cote is a current member of: National Tutoring Association, National Councils of Teachers of English, TESOL International, ANUPI-COPEI, Arab Society of English Language Studies (ASELS), National College Learning Center Association (NCLCA), LINGUIST List, and National Council of Teachers of English.
