Waiver Acknowledgement *
I advise that I do not have any injuries, ailments or conditions which would prevent me from undertaking yoga practice and that I take this workshop at my own risk. I also agree to take full responsibility for any injury, loss or damage of any kind that I incur as a result of attending the above workshop. This includes being responsible for my own safety with the use of props and movement around the room amongst numerous props. I agree that Lizzie Lasater, and Alison Parker will not be liable in any way for any injury, loss or damage I may incur during the workshop including as a result of any information, written or verbal, provided during the workshop. I also understand that at times it is part of yoga practice to have physical interaction between teacher and student in the form of adjustments of alignment and balance. This ensures my safety as well as a deeper development of yoga practice. I will be responsible for myself and accept that the teacher’s guidance and instruction is from an educated and informed background. At times that I may not wish to receive physical adjustments I will inform the teacher at the beginning of, or during the workshop.
Required
Props Acknowledgement *
I acknowledge that a requirement of this teaching workshop is that I provide my own required props: 1-2 bolsters, 5-8 sturdy blankets, 1 yoga strap (D-ring preferred), 2 blocks, Yoga mat, 1 eye bag. As a dedicated student or teacher, it is expected that workshop participants will already own or will purchase their own props prior to the workshop. If you are based interstate, please contact Alison Parker prior to registering to discuss your prop needs, as there will be very limited props for loan. If you do have extra props and can easily bring them to the workshop to loan to others, this is greatly appreciated.
Required
Post Teaching Workshop Lunch
At the conclusion of the Teaching Workshop on Sunday 25 November, we may hold a 'Thanksgiving Themed' lunch at Asquith Golf Club, in honour of our American guest and teacher Lizzie Lasater. Please express your interest and in the event there are sufficient numbers I will communicate lunch package information to you closer to the event itself.
Thank you
