How can we live a life of faith in the world?
An authentic Christian life is challenging. A Cursillo retreat can help. Over three days, a Cursillo retreat encourages participants towards a Christian life based on prayer, study and action.

What is a Cursillo?
A Cursillo is a short course in Christian living. In a series of talks and reflections, we will explore and reflect on faith and its relevance in today's world. The three days grow into a personal experience, as we encounter faith in relation to self, Christ and others.

What happens on a Cursillo?
A Cursillo is a positive experience of Christian community. Over the three days, we will share daily Mass, prayers, meals and tasks that discuss what is fundamental to being a Christian. While the experience of a Cursillo is unique for each person, many find that the Cursillo gives them new direction and connection in the contemporary world. There will also be free time to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of St Clements, Galong.

Who is a Cursillo for?
A Cursillo is for men and woman seeking to deepen their Christian life in the world. Held in the Catholic tradition, the Cursillo is open to all Christians including regular church-goers and those who rarely set foot in a church.

Transport to and from can be arranged, if requested. If you have mobility issues, please let us know.
