Our Master Classes are for Adults & Teens ages 14 and up. Each class will be held from 9am to 12pm at Vernal Theatre: LIVE.

The cost is $15 for each class, $45 for all four if paid in advance.

June 10 - Success in Auditions (Featuring directors from Season 7) We will go through the process of choosing a song or monologue, cutting it to fit time limits, discuss strategies for nailing a cold read, and introduce the audition form. We will also review Storytelling through Song and how this strategy will raise the bar on your audition. Ask a panel of directors any question you want about auditioning. For an additional $5, perform an audition for the directors in attendance and get immediate feedback. 

July 8 - Shakespeare (Taught by Emily Walker & McKenzie Johnstun) All you ever wanted to know about Shakespeare! This NEW class is being offered due to many requests and we are so excited to explore the world and the plays of Shakespeare.

August 12 - Technical Theatre A three-part day full of fantastic information! We will go over what it takes to be a Stage Manager, spend time in the booth learning the basics of Sound & Lighting, and go over a Prop & Costume plot - learning how to find items that will be used in a production. A perfect review for anyone who wants a refresher or the perfect introduction for anyone who wants to learn more about the "other side" of theatre.

September 9 - Theatre Dance In this Master Class, learn three routines - one ballroom, one musical theatre, and one tap as we build your theatre dance experience and technical knowledge. Come ready to move in shoes & clothes than allow you to move freely. Technical terms will be taught as well as steps that you will need to know for any musical theatre production you join.
