Tule Teachings, Yolo Bypass Field-trip -Registration
DEAR FRIENDS, WE HAVE NOW MOVED ON TO A WAITING LIST FOR THE FIELD-TRIP. WE ARE EXPLORING OPTIONS FOR BIGGER VEHICLES, AND ARE HOPEFUL WE CAN ACCOMMODATE AT LEAST A FEW MORE PEOPLE. SO DO SIGN UP, AND WE WILL BE IN TOUCH WITH FURTHER DETAILS SOON.

This auto-tour through the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area will introduce participants to the natural ecology of these wetlands, along with its plant, animal, insect, and bird familiars. The caravan will stop at 2 locations for exploration and discussion with Diana Almendariz and other knowledge keepers of wetland ecologies. Space is limited, so ride-shares and carpools are strongly encouraged.

Recommendations
  • Please, wear long sleeve shirts, long pants, socks, and close-toed shoes;
  • We will be walking on uneven ground;
  • Hat or sunglasses are recommended;
  • Please bring sunscreen, water bottle, and snacks;
  • Bring your binoculars, and any other items you might want.
