2019-2020 UTM BCM Executive Leadership Team Application (PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE COMPLETING)
Thank you for your interest in SERVING on the UT Martin BCM EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP TEAM. The information below is VERY DETAILED and VERY IMPORTANT to understand the STRUCTURE and EXPECTATIONS for every Leadership position. If you have questions, don't hesitate to contact us at utmbcm@gmail.com.

IMPORTANT:
To serve on the Executive Leadership Team (President, Vice President, and Secretary)
one must have served at least one (1) year on the BCM Leadership Team

EXPECTATIONS FOR THE UTM BCM EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP TEAM:

1. Maintain a consistent devotional life and pray regularly for all phases of the
BCM ministry.
2. Live a LIFE ABOVE REPROACH so that you do not serve as a stumbling block
in someone else's faith (Please Read Romans 14:13 and 1 Timothy 3:1-3)
3. Sense God’s call to serve as a Leader in the BCM
4. Be an active participant in a church while a student
5. Attend all leader development and planning meetings which include
*Spring Leadership Conference, April 5-6, 2019 @ Spring Hill, TN (Cost is $35)
*UT Martin BCM Leadership Calendar Planning (APRIL)
*Leadership Retreat before the Fall Semester, August TBD
*BCM Survival for Incoming Students, August 18-21, 2019 @ UTM BCM
6. Encourage Team leaders by attending BCM events throughout the school year
7. Attend the BCM Fall and Winter Retreat Events
8. Participate in a BCM Mission trip (Spring Break or May Break trip)

BCM PRESIDENT-- The BCM President Shall:
1. Provide OVERSIGHT for the UPREACH TEAM MEMBERS.
2. Preside over the BCM Leadership meetings.
3. Become acquainted with the duties of the Upreach Leadership Team.
4. Consult regularly with the BCM Campus Minister.

BCM VICE PRESIDENT--- The BCM Vice President Shall:
1. Provide OVERSIGHT for the OUTREACH TEAM MEMBERS.
2. The Vice President shall be responsible for Encouragement and Prayer in the BCM.
3. Become acquainted with the duties of the Outreach Leadership Team.
4. Consult regularly with the BCM Campus Minister.
5. Preside over the BCM Leadership meetings in the absence of the BCM President.

SECRETARY--- The BCM Secretary Shall:
1. Provide OVERSIGHT for the INREACH TEAM MEMBERS.
2. Keep accurate records of ALL Leadership meetings.
3. Become acquainted with the duties of the Inreach Leadership Team.
4. Consult regularly with the BCM Campus Minister.
5. Preside over the BCM Leadership meetings in the absence of the BCM President
& Vice President.
