2022 Flathead Rivers Alliance Volunteer Training Form
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Flathead Rivers Alliance for 2022!  We're expanding our River Ambassador program and piloting a River Recreation Monitoring/Citizen Scientist program this year. You make the success of our programs possible. Please confirm which program training(s) you will be attending and food preference. If you have a partner that is interested in attending training as well, they'll need to also fill out a form to help us have a better understanding of head count.

River Ambassador - River Ambassadors serve as liaisons with the public at popular river access sites along the Three Forks of the Flathead Wild and Scenic River. We ask minimum commitment of four 2-hour volunteer pop-up booth shifts Memorial Day to Labor Day.

River Recreation Monitoring/Citizen Scientist - Do you enjoy floating the river? Conduct river monitoring using a Survey 123 mobile data collection app. This tool allows trained volunteers to collect river user, wildlife, and invasive species data as they float the river. Data collected will enhance data sets that are collected by agency partner river patrols and help us have an understanding of trends to better target education and outreach.
