Mamre Oaks and Faith and Light is inviting Fr. Derrick back to do a rerun of his talk “God and Me in My Autistic World” 

This talk is a special invitation to persons with autism with low support needs, and their families. Fr Derrick is invited back as we hope this would provide a unique opportunity and insights into the spiritual development and experiences of persons with autism.

Key Questions Explored:  

  • What transpires in the soul of a person with autism when it connects with God?
  • Is a sense of self essential in one's desire for God?

While answers may be elusive, the session encourages asking the right questions to open doors within and connect deeply with the spiritual stories of others navigating the autistic world.
