Kenwood Fire Protection District - Community Survey
Kenwood Fire Protection District (KFPD) has an incredible legacy of work that has been
powered by volunteers since its inception. In recent years, KFPD has paid some staff to cover
the needs of the district, to react to modern needs while still nurturing our volunteers.
We need to hear from you, the residents and community that we serve, in order to make sure
we’re hitting the mark. Our goal is to provide you with the highest level of service, and as
resources become available we want to ensure that we are targeting them correctly.
Please share your priorities with us below.
Two 24/7 paid staff to respond to calls
EMT training for new firefighters
Support for volunteer staff stipend
Fire Station improvements
Maintain and expand paid staff at the station, ready to respond
Replace aging fire apparatus with newer, more reliable engines
A parcel tax to support the Kenwood Fire Protection District
Upgrade equipment to better fight wildfires
All of the above
