Hello experienced SGD teachers and Adams 12 8th grade computer science Beginner teachers! Welcome to the 2018 Scalable Game Design registration form. By completing the form and confirming you have the correct tools to teach using AgentCubes Online, you are able to attend Summer Institute for no cost, receive free software for your school, and participate in SGD activities in your classroom. Data collection in the fall is NOT a requirement for attendance.
INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED 3D Online Game and Simulation Design for Teachers RETURNING to SGD Summer Institute
Tuesday, June 12 to Thursday, June 14
8:00 am - 5:00 pm daily
Bollman Technical Education Center, Thornton, CO
Pre-requisites for attendance for Intermediate/Advanced training:
1) you have taught SGD in your classroom for at least one round and
2) collected research data using AgentCubes Online at least once in the past 3 years .
ADAMS 12 8th-GRADE CS TEACHER BEGINNER 3D Online Game and Simulation Design Training (Adams 12 teachers only)
Tuesday, June 12 to Thursday, June 14
9:30 am - 2:30 pm daily (60 min lunch on your own daily)
Bollman Technical Education Center, Thornton, CO
Pre-requisites for attendance for Adams 12 8th Grade CS Teacher BEGINNER training:
1) you teach computer science or programming at Adams 12,
2) Anna Otto is aware of you attending,
3) you will complete online pre-work prior to attendance (build a Frogger game)
Approximately 30 seats for experienced Intermediate/Advanced Research Scholars and 10 seats for Adams 12 8th Grade CS teachers are available and will be filled on a first come first served basis.
