FCCPTA Facilities and Transportation Committee Chair
The Facilities and Transportation Chair monitors FCPS facilities planning and the Capital improvement Plan (CIP); assists local PTA units in having an appropriate voice in the formation of their school’s facility needs and their position on the CIP; encourages local units to make their positions known to the School Board and the Board of Supervisors; provides reports to FCCPTA Executive Board and General Membership on current topics and issues. The chair also monitors FCPS transportation issues as they relate to health and safety of children.
