Presidents' Award
The purpose of this award is to honor a credentialed teacher librarian who, through the library program, directly affects students and teachers. Nominees must be CSLA members who work at the site level.

Nominations may be made by library peers, administrators, teachers, or by the nominee himself or herself.

Four letters of recommendation are required that describe the nominee’s activities that reflect the roles of collaborative teacher, information specialist, instructional partner, and program administrator: One letter from the nominee’s principal, one letter from a teacher, one letter from a student, and one letter from someone of your choice. Email the letters of recommendation to info@csla.net, or fax them to 888-655-8480.

The final selection may be validated by a visit from at least one member of the committee.

The $400 award is funded by DEMCO, Inc. The award money may be applied to transportation, lodging, and conference registration fees. The recipient will be expected to attend the CSLA Annual Conference at the Tenaya Lodge to receive the award at the luncheon on Friday, February 2, 2018.

Nominations are due by October 15, 2017. If you have questions, contact CSLA at info@csla.net.
