AI Without Borders (facebook_page: https://www.facebook.com/AIWithoutBorders/) is a non-profit crowdsourced cancer research "AI for social good" initiative which focuses on early detection and cure through the application of computing (particularly machine learning and AI) principles. We are structured across thirty different teams with more than a hundred volunteers where each team is focused towards a particular type of cancer. The teams currently use open source datasets and code using frameworks like Pytorch, Keras, Caffe, and Tensorflow.  Our other parallel directions of focus include extensive medical case studies on challenges in detection of different types of cancer from various sources such as CT scans, X-rays, MRI's and so on. While we don't expect any prior knowledge or experience from volunteers, we love the diversity AI Without Borders carries. We are happy to welcome everyone on board and help them find their fit here.
