2025-2026 Pacific Sands Academy Enrollment
Pacific Sands Academy is an official private school of record. It is a Private School Satellite Program  offering an official school (including transcripts and report cards) for homeschooling families, and teens seeking independent studies. Families who enroll with us DO NOT have to create their own private school (file a PSA with the state California) or enroll in a Charter School. Enrolling your child or teen  in our program meets the legal requirements for homeschooling in the state of California. 

Pacific Sands Academy is accredited by NALSAS (National Association for the Legal Support of Alternative Schools).This accreditation is not the large regional accreditation that most public schools have, so it allows us the freedom to pursue interest-led and passion driven independent studies in ways that make sense to each individual family. Enrolling in Pacific Sands Academy gives you a school of record to belong to, a place to house your child's academic records, and a report card or transcript at the end of the school year. Once you fill in this enrollment form, please set up a meeting using that link above. We will have you pay during the meeting, and send you proof of enrollment immediately (during the meeting). We can then start the process of reaching out to your child's previous school for  their records, and set up an individualized program for your child or teen. We look forward to working with you!

*I give permission for Pacific Sands Academy to obtain the full set of school records for the above-named student(s).

*I understand that a $25 late fee will be applied when my bill is not paid within 10 days of the date sent.
*I also understand that Pacific Sands Academy will provide educational guidance when requested, but will not provide direct day to day supervision of this student’s educational activities. 
*If we signed up for a monthly program I understand that we can change programs for the following months, but not for the month that we are currently in or retroactively. 

I acknowledge that this payment for the 25-26 school year or any monthly tuition is not refundable, even if we chose to change schools mid-year. 

I agree to keep Pacific Sands Academy informed of any changes in plans for the above-named student. This student and the adults listed above assume all risk in pursuing an independent education and release Shauna Reisewitz, Director of Pacific Sands Academy, from all liability in connection with this pursuit.
