More info about the events
1) The Asian Heritage Street Celebration at Sunday Streets is taking place on Sunday, May 6, 2018, from 11am-4pm! Streets in San Francisco's Civic Center. The area will be closed to vehicle traffic to make room for a stage showcasing traditional and contemporary performances as well as many other activities, such as the Faces of Asia cultural procession featuring ethnic attire. Artists will also showcase their art and work. Live art demonstrations and participatory community art projects will also be part of the program. The Asian Art Museum is also offering free admission.

2) Dancing on Waverly Place (between Washington and Sacramento Sts.) - Saturday, May 19, 2018, approximately 1p-9p. Free community dance party, with additional activities, to enliven the alleyways of Chinatown.

3) Chinatown Music Festival at Portsmouth Square (Clay St. @ Kearny) in Chinatown - Saturday August 4, approximately 11a-6p. Live music, performances, and activities for the whole family held in the historic Portsmouth Sq., the "Heart of Chinatown."

4) Chinatown at Twilight (Waverly Place between Washington and Sacramento Sts.) - Friday, September 7, 2018, approximately 5p-9p. Night market, dancing, and 1-2 performances to enliven the alleyways of Chinatown.
