Mobile DJ Request Form

KSLU's Mobile DJ Team was developed to fulfill requests for DJ’s, music, and equipment rentals for events on and off Saint Louis University's campus. This is an internal request form, not a contract. Please complete it with as much detail as possible to aid the booking process.

Filling out the Mobile DJ Request Form does not guarantee that a DJ will be available and/or equipment will be available for the requested dates.

PRICING:
Live DJ: Select this option below for events that are more music-centric, and holds the DJ to higher standards as he is in or near the center of focus. The best applicable example of a Live DJ service is a Dance Floor. The pricing for this option is $50.00/hour for the first 4 hours

Background DJ: Select this option below for events that would take background music, but where the focus of the event is elsewhere offering the DJ more leeway to relax and use less sophisticated methods to play music. Examples of the Background DJ Service would include Barbecue or Sporting events where the DJ simply provides background music. The pricing for this option is $35.00/hour for the first 4 hours

All subsequent hours for the above 2 options carry a flat rate of $20.00/hour.

Stage Sound Production: Mobile DJ has the equipment and the capability to operate small stage productions complete with speakers, background music, and microphone connectability with 3-5 microphones and up to 4 microphone stands. Selecting this option is asking us to handle all sound production for your stage production, including but not limited to small concerts, talent shows, talk/comedy shows, acapella, and dance recitals. (NOTE: KSLU does not possess equipment to build a stage or provide stage lighting, and will furthermore hold no responsibility to concern itself with any other factors for a stage production other than the sound.) This pricing will range from $40.00/hour - $50.00/hour depending on the nature of, and size of the event. Busier and more extravagant jobs that place a high level of stress on the DJ, will warrant a higher rate.

Equipment Rental: Renting the equipment holds the requesting party liable for any damage to the equipment during the period that they rent it. For this option, a member of KSLU will assist the coordinating party in transporting and setting up the equipment as the party would prefer, and then would instruct the coordinating party on proper operation of the equipment.`The member of KSLU would hold no responsibility to provide music or remain on site, though he will provide a contact number should the coordinating party encounter any problems. This option has a flat rate of $20.00/hour.

When suggesting a very specific time frame, KSLU rounds the resultant price up to the half hour. e.g. a 2 hour 15 minute event is priced for 2 hours and 30 minutes.

TERMS: The Mobile DJ Request Form must be received at least 14 days in advance before the event to be eligible for booking. If the Mobile DJ Request Form is received less than 7 days prior to the event, KSLU holds no obligation to accommodate for the event. Additionally, KSLU reserves the right to add a late fee of $30 if the terms and conditions of the station are not met any any point in the booking process. KSLU also reserves the right to add a cancellation charge of 1/4th the projected booking cost if KSLU is not notified of the cancellation at least 24 hours before the event. We will contact you with a response to your application within 1 week.

Off Campus Events: If an event is booked at an off campus location, an additional fee of $20 will be added for loading/traveling time, as well as transportation fees. Special events (i.e. weddings) will be priced independently, but are welcomed. Contact Grant Nikseresht at kslu.gm@gmail.com for special event inquiries.

NOTE: Payments must be submitted to KSLU directly, NOT to Student Life.
