Pre-K Waitlist Form 2026-2027
The Glynn County School System begins the waiting list for prekindergarten students for the 2026-2027 school year on Monday, December 1, 2025.

Facility limitations and state restrictions limit the prekindergarten enrollment in Glynn County public schools to 488 students at this time.  These students will be served at FACES (Family and Children’s Educational Services), the Glynn County Schools’ Pre-Kindergarten Center, and/or in selected elementary schools (Altama, Glyndale, Golden Isles, Greer, Oglethorpe Point, Satilla Marsh, St. Simons and Sterling).  Pre-Kindergarten is a full-day program that follows the regular school calendar.

Parents or Guardians should complete the Pre-K Waitlist Form on-line using the Google Form Link.  Phone calls to place children on the waiting list will NOT be accepted.  Pre-Kindergarten students must be four years old on or before September 1, 2026 to qualify.

Names will be placed on the waiting list. A random selection of students for the program will take place during March, 2026.   At that time Parents or Guardians will be notified by phone, text message, email or mail to schedule an appointment to complete the registration process.

Please note that your child must be 4 on or before September 1, 2026.

To register your child, you must have the following documents when we contact you to schedule appointments in March, 2026:

• Certified Birth Certificate – this is with the state file number.  (Not the one with the foot prints from the hospital).

• Student’s Social Security Card – those objecting to the use of the number may sign a waiver.

• Proof of Residency – This can be a current utility bill, rent/lease agreement.  Driver’s License will NOT be accepted.

• Parent Photo ID

• Custody Documents, if applicable

• Georgia Certificate of Immunization Form 3231 within 30 days, once school begins

• Georgia Certificate of Vision, Hearing, Dental, and Nutrition Screening Form 3300 within 90 days, once school begins.
