The Love Quilt is a project to share stories of love across time and space by Arianne Spaulding as part of the Stanford graduate program in Design. Part of the project is sharing love stories on a Google map. Check it out at tinyurl.com/lovequilt. The project will be revealed at a showcase on January 17, 2024.

Want to add your own love story? Fill out the form below and it will be added to the map. Each response will correspond to one place on the map. Feel free to fill out the form as many times as you'd like!

This form is anonymous, so please be kind and respectful. What kind of love is your love story?

(While love is complicated and may be more than one of these, this is just a way to determine what color heart is placed on the map, so pick whichever feels best.)

Romantic Love - deep feeling of affection and attraction towards another person

Love Between Friends - a deep sense of care, support, and connection with another person

Familial Love - a deep, often unconditional bond of affection, loyalty, and support shared between members of a family (of origin or chosen family)

Playful Love - a type of love that is characterized by flirtation, fun, and a lighthearted attitude

Self Love - a deep connection to yourself and your well-being, and treating yourself with kindness, compassion, and understanding

Everlasting Love - a sustained form of love that can be built over time through deliberate actions and attitudes

Love for the World - a deep care for all people and the earth
