Organization or group
What Western PA neighborhood, suburb, city, and/or county are you from?
Do you need childcare? If yes, for how many children? What are their ages? We are not a formal group or organization with any funds, but we will do our best to arrange for childcare with the Yellow Bridge Childcare Collective if you and others need it.
Due to enormous response to the discussion series, we need volunteers for childcare and rides to and from the event. Could you help with:
Rides to the event
Rides from the event
Childcare (volunteer child care clearance required.)
Do you need any accommodations?
What areas of experience, knowledge, or skills could you share related to addressing the climate crisis, sustainability, and/or environmental justice?
Would you like to join a Slack online work site for ongoing discussion and problem-solving regarding the climate crisis, sustainability, and environmental justice in Western PA? If yes, you'll receive an invitation to the Slack site.
As we draft proposals for what we would like to see in a Green New Deal for our region, what topics or concerns might you be interested in working on? Examples include areas such as transportation, agriculture, energy, infrastructure, supply chain/ circular economy, ETC.
Besides the proposal drafting groups, we will be forming other optional working groups on January 26th. Which of the following groups might interest you?
Outreach and publicity: flyers, social media, direct invitations to individuals and organizations
Organizing and action
Logistics and mutual care: arranging food, childcare, and transportation for people without cars
Media: website management, photos, livestreaming, etc
What are other ideas for working groups do you have?
