1. I can analyze the rocks. First, Look at the picture of the rocks (above). Second, Write your observations on the lines below. Note:  OBSERVATION is a science way of saying… “What did you notice about it?”. Since it is YOUR observations, there is not a wrong answer. Make sure you look at the items long enough to make observations. You should have a minimum of 5 observations. Having more than 5 observations is great! (Example: I noticed that rock R appears to have a “web” design on it.) *
2. Come up with three questions about the rocks. What do you wonder about the rocks?(These should be in the form of a question.) Example: I wonder ____________________________________? *
3. Look at the picture below. It is a picture of coral  found at the bottom of the ocean. What do you notice that could be similar between the rocks and the coral or sea life? *
