SUMMER INSTITUTE TRAINING DATES: July 9-12, 2018

Washington Youth Garden, in partnership with the Office of the State Superintendent of Education, is looking for returning District of Columbia Public Schools and public charter schools pre-k through grade 5 classroom teachers who work in schools with existing school garden programs and are interested in developing their garden-based teaching skills.

Preference will be given to teachers with strong support from their administration, and who are participating with more than one teacher from their school. Schools must be in compliance with the Healthy Schools Act. If you are unsure if your school meets this requirement, please contact Sam Ullery Sam.Ullery@dc.gov.
