Recently, in an interview with multiple on-campus news sources, Chancellor Rebecca Blank stated “I have not heard from any students who had an individual story to tell about a negative interaction with a specific police officer on campus.” This is in no way the fault of students, but Blank's unwillingness to truly connect and listen to her community. In an effort to make student voices heard, the University of Wisconsin-Madison BIPOC Coalition are collecting testimonies from those who have had negative interactions with UWPD to present to University officials. Please know that this survey is anonymous– we will not attempt to find out who the testimony is coming from.
