ADWKDC is a week long networking and professional development event hosted by AAF DC exclusively for communicators in the Washington, DC region.
The event has taken many different forms since its launch more than 10 years ago and has continued to evolve to best meet the needs of those in the regional communications industry.The cornerstone event is a one-day conference featuring keynotes, panel discussions and breakout sessions featuring leaders in the fields of communication, advertising, PR, technology, media and business strategy. Attendees include professionals at every level and every discipline of the communications industry who work in and around Washington.
To be the best, we need the best.
What makes ADWKDC so great is our speakers. We exclusively feature working professionals who have made notable contributions to the industry and have a unique point of view to share, especially pertaining to bleeding edge technologies and approaches. As our planning for this year’s event is well underway, the organizing committee is officially announcing a call for dynamic thought leaders to submit their ideas for topics and demonstrate to us why they belong on stage at one of the DC region’s largest marketing-related events.
In addition to speaking opportunities for the core conference, we are also seeking potential “hosted events” for Monday through Wednesday of the week. A hosted event is developed by you in partnership with the AAF DC board at a venue you provide that can accommodate various times, formats and audience sizes.
Selection to participate in ADWKDC will provide you and your organization with:
- Increased visibility with hundreds of marketing professionals and organizations across DC,- Potential exposure in earned press coverage of the DC area’s largest advertising conferences,- Thought leadership opportunities such as editorial submissions, interviews, promotion of existing work, etc.- And you will be joining the ranks of past speakers that include top executives from Discovery, The Ad Council, Procter & - Gamble, Volkswagen and the Truth Initiative along with senior editors and correspondents from the New York Times, Washington Post, The Atlantic and the Huffington Post — just to name a few.
