PROJECT GOALS

• Design and construction of a 10,000 square ft. world class Skatepark for the community of Dover
• Integrate skatepark with other current / future park uses
• Accessible for all proficiency levels
• Safety
• Durability & structural high performance
• New character & identity to the skatepark and the community
• Premier design quality
• Incorporate amenities such as shade, lighting, seating, etc.
• Co-creation process involving skatepark users


PROJECT LOCATION

The skate park will be located in the Southeast part of Schutte park right off of Electric Ave, between the City softball fields and Little League baseball fields.

It is important that skateparks incorporate the feel of the local community in creative ways.
