GEHNA Legacy Membership - Application
Legacy Membership is an individual industry membership for professionals who have retired, or are retiring, from a career in the equine industry and who wish to remain connected to GEHNA (Article 3.1.3 of the GEHNA bylaws).

Passive Legacy Membership: EUR 425 per year. Active Legacy Membership: the fee may be waived in part or in full by the Secretary-General, who reports this to the Board, in exchange for a contribution to GEHNA agreed in writing in advance.

Legacy Members have access to the GEHNA Shared Knowledge Portal and GEHNA University and receive project results after completion of the project and report. Legacy Membership carries no voting rights and no company-related benefits such as logo display.

Through the Legacy Knowledge initiative, experienced professionals can pass on what they learned over a career, so that this knowledge is not lost when they step back.

Legacy Knowledge preserves what experienced professionals learned over a career, so that it is not lost when they step back. You contribute a document or letter, a recorded interview, a presentation or a curated data set, covering for example lessons learned, knowledge gaps you encountered, how the field has changed, and what you would pass on to the next generation. Contributions are shared with the members through the GEHNA Shared Knowledge Portal. A Legacy Knowledge contribution is one of the contributions for which the fee of an Active Legacy Member can be waived.
