What: This workshop will explore movement as physical relief, self-affirmation, a bridge between the unseen and seen, and more. Some examples of activities that will occur include: stretching, creating a dance within a group, collaborating on a movement phrase with a partner, and assigning movement to emotions and experiences. When: March 3rd, 2018 from 12PM - 3:30PM
Where: Columbia Heights Rec Center (1480 Girard St NW, Washington, DC 20009)
Who: The session is open to/free for all veterans, service members, military family members, and caregivers. There is no dance/movement experience necessary in order to participate in this program: people of all dancing abilities and backgrounds are encouraged to attend.
