The Mark M. McCloy scholarship has been established in memory of former Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity President Mark McCloy. The purpose of the scholarship is to reward exceptional young men with outstanding high school careers who are entering their first year at the University of Iowa. Each winner will be awarded $1000. There will be five winners.
Mark McCloy was a loving son, loyal brother, and dedicated friend. His passion for life and his fraternity leaves a legacy for others to follow. Mark's leadership, devotion, and willingness to help others is memorialized through this scholarship. His drive for campus involvement and academic excellence is something we look for in applicants to receive the scholarship.
Our chapter was founded on campus in April of 2005, making us one of the youngest fraternities at the University of Iowa. In under two decades of hard work through multiple generations of leaders, we currently find ourselves to be one of the most respected and largest fraternities on campus. As an organization we strive to attain the highest possible standards of scholarship, and we hope to leave a lasting positive impression on you as you go through our scholarship process.
