Volunteer with 826 Boston
Did you hear the news? 826 Boston is expanding. We currently run three satellite classrooms called Writers' Rooms in public schools in Roxbury, Dorchester, and Jamaica Plain. We are planning to open our second Dorchester-based Writers' Room this fall at the Boston International Newcomers Academy. That makes four Writers' Rooms, where we will be able to reach new students, publish new books, and train new tutors.

We depend on volunteers like you to tutor in the Writers' Rooms and work with students on their writing assignments. During this Info Session, you will learn about how we support student writing and how YOU can get involved.

Please fill out this form and indicate your availability for the suggested dates below. A member of our volunteer team will reach out to confirm the date and your attendance.
